Coolidge

Farming and Urban Living

Coolidge is a small farming community with approximately 12,000 residents and is located halfway between Phoenix and Tucson. Coolidge was originally built around the cotton growing industry.  The city was founded in 1925 and incorporated in 1945, named after the 30th US President Calvin Coolidge.  The city of Coolidge still produces cotton but many of the old cotton fields have become housing developments for a friendly growing town where families enjoy a casual lifestyle.  Coolidge offers easy access to professional sports, car races, ballet, symphony, concerts and major universities.
